I can completely get you. Two years ago, I was suffering from too much anxiety and that's when I started binge eating to keep myself calm. I gained a lot of weight because of that too.

But after I saw a psychiatrist and started taking meds, it went under control. And now I always keep something chewable with me, this doesn't keep me idle but stops me from eating unhealthy at the same time. You can definitely try this out.
